Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, a South African rapper better known by his stage name AKA, has been shot dead in a drive-by shooting.

The incident occurred on Friday night on Florida Road in Durban, South Africa, according to police reports. It is believed that the rapper was targeted by individuals in two cars who opened fire around 10 pm.

AKA was on his way to celebrate his birthdayat YUGO nightclub in Stamford Hill, Durban, but was killed outside a restaurant on Florida Road.

According to reports, AKA was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting while standing outside the Wish Restaurant. The rapper’s bodyguard was also injured in the incident. Another individual, who was a close friend of the singer, was also reported to have been killed.
